ZainTECH, a digital solutions provider under Zain Group, has announced its partnership with HTC VIVE. This collaboration will bring HTC VIVE’s cutting-edge Extended Reality (XR) hardware and software to the Middle East and Africa (MEA) region.
ZainTECH announced the agreement at GITEX Global in Dubai, where they are exhibiting for the second year in a row.
HTC VIVE has gained global recognition for its innovative XR technology. Last year, the company sent a VIVE Focus 3 headset to the International Space Station.
It supported astronauts’ mental and physical well-being. Now, ZainTECH aims to introduce these technologies to the MEA region, meeting the growing demand for XR and virtual reality (VR) solutions.

New Dimensions in Workplace Interactions
HTC’s spatial collaboration platform, VIVERSE For Business, is part of the partnership. This platform allows users to meet in 3D environments.
It enhances workplace collaboration and productivity. Features like Live Translation and AI-powered NPCs are designed to enrich user experiences.
Andrew Hanna, CEO of ZainTECH, expressed excitement about the partnership. “Extended reality and virtual reality (VR) features are being demanded by a growing number of clients,” he said.
“We see demand for such services only growing. It is thus strategic for us to collaborate with companies such as HTC VIVE at this time.”
Several organizations in the MEA region have already adopted HTC VIVE’s hardware. Nikhil Nair, Head of Sales for HTC MEA, noted the importance of this partnership.
“We’ve even seen trainees from fire services travel long distances and conduct part of their training in VR,” Nair said. “We’re excited to partner with ZainTECH, who share our commitment to provide high-quality services, and using technology to make people’s lives better.”
This partnership positions ZainTECH as a leading provider of XR solutions in the MEA region, meeting the rising demand for innovative digital experiences.
