THRIVE Global Impact Launches $1M Challenge for African Agrifood Startups

THRIVE Global Impact has launched a new challenge aimed at African agrifood startups, offering a $1 million prize. 

The initiative seeks to accelerate the transition to a net-zero agricultural future, which aligns with the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals.

The challenge invites early-stage startups in the seed to Series A stage to apply. These startups should propose innovative solutions that contribute to sustainability and have potential for scalable impact.

Applicants will compete across five key themes essential for achieving a net-zero future in agriculture. 

Finalists will then advance to pitch their ideas at the THRIVE Global Impact Summit in Silicon Valley.

The winner not only receives the $1 million prize but also gains access to THRIVE’s renowned Global Accelerator Program and investment opportunities from SVG Ventures. 

This platform offers startups a chance to showcase their solutions to global investors and industry leaders.

Applications are open globally. They are encouraging diverse participation from entrepreneurs worldwide.
