The 2023 Singapore Fintech Festival (SFF) is ready to set the stage for innovation and financial technology advancements from Wednesday, 15th to 17th of November at the Singapore EXPO.

The central theme of this year’s SFF, which brings together regulators and industry players in business, finance and technology, is “AI for good. AI for good?”

Artificial Intelligence (AI) for Good is a year-round digital platform of the United Nations’ International Telecommunication Union. AI generally leverages computers and machines to mimic the problem-solving and decision-making capabilities of the human mind.

SFF is organized by the Monetary Authority of Singapore, Elevandi, and Constellar, and in collaboration with The Association of Banks in Singapore. Its aim is to bring together the global FinTech community to engage, connect, and collaborate on issues relating to the development of financial services, public policy, and technology.

The Singapore FinTech Festival 8th edition will bring together participants across the globe. They will range from global leaders across governments, financial sectors, and technology. This year’s event will spotlight the dynamic role of AI in shaping the future of finance.

Singapore FinTech Festival 2023 Key Speakers

Some of the notable speakers at this year’s SFF includes Kristalina Georgieva, managing director of the International Monetary Fund, Ajay Banga, president of the World Bank and Tharman Shanmugaratnam, President of the Republic of Singapore.

The Singapore FinTech Festival event will bring more than 62,000 attendees from over 134 countries. It will also bring over 10,000 organisations, including 70 central banks from 51 jurisdictions.

Additionally, More than 800 world-renowned speakers will attend over 450 thought-provoking sessions. This year’s SFF will feature a record of nearly 700 exhibitors and 36 international pavilions across five thematic zones – technology, ESG, founders, regulation and talent.

Consequently, SFF will also feature more than 50 side events across the week, including SFF After Hours at Club Street

At the same time, SFF 2023 will dive into AI’s promise as well as challenges. These will provide a platform to explore a unified vision for the future, harnessing its benefits while mitigating its risks.

Throughout the event, speakers and industry leaders will dwell on discussions on how the financial system can be further improved and help prepare for future risks in technology and climate as well as powering entrepreneurs and the future tech workforce.

Some of the earlier editions of the SFF featured discussions on driving low-carbon transitions, expanding financial access, improving digital economic resilience, and scaling promising AI.

About the Singapore FinTech Festival 2023 stages

Singapore FinTech Festival will use different stages to elevate and address the pressing challenges that the industry faces.

The stages will include:

Festival Stage

The event will have the festival stage which is the largest stage at SFF. The Festival Stage will feature high-level dialogues and keynote addresses by heads of state, as well as global leaders across technology, finance, and policy.

The stage will also feature TIME 100 Most Influential AI person, Oscar-nominated film personalities, and top sportspersons.

Insights Stage

At the same time, the event will also have the Insights Stage. At this stage participants should expect a deep dive into the core themes of the festival through innovative formats like debates, case studies, and “Ask me anything” sessions.

The sessions will touch on key topics shaping the financial industry today and in the future, such as AI and digital assets.

Technology Stage

The Stage will feature in-depth sessions led by prominent experts. The expert’s will share their extensive knowledge and expertise, providing attendees with a comprehensive understanding of the current and future trends in fields such as AI and Web3.

Talent Stage

The purpose of this Stage is to help participants understand the skills. These Skills are usually the ones in high demand in the future economy. The stage will also serve participants on how they can adapt and thrive in this new landscape.

Singapore FinTech Festival 2023 Five New Zones

This year, SFF has introduced five new zones designed to foster innovation and discussions efficiently.

ESG Zone: These zone will focus on sustainability through initiatives like the Greenprint Hub Workshop and the ESG Lounge.

Talent Zone: These zone will focus on dedication to career growth. The dedication will be via the Talent Pavilion and the Pay-It-Forward Lounge. At these zone you can arrange meetings with over 100 mentors.

Technology Zone: These zone will showcase a cutting-edge advancements for technologists to cultivate meaningful partnerships.

Founders Zone: These zone will connect entrepreneurs and investors through initiatives. The initiatives can be like The Founders Peak and 1:1 meetings during Investor Office Hours with over 100 investors.

Regulation Zone: These zone is like a hub for policy dialogue and regulatory technology insights. At these zone you can hear first-hand from regulators at the 30+ regulatory masterclasses.

These curated spaces promise to spark meaningful conversations, partnerships, and breakthroughs in their respective domains.
