PayMint and ADIB-Egypt Launch Meeza Prepaid Cards to Boost Financial Inclusion

PayMint, a leading FinTech company, has launched its first Meeza prepaid cards in partnership with Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank – Egypt (ADIB-Egypt). The Central Bank of Egypt approved this initiative, supporting the country’s cashless society vision.

The new Meeza card allows users to withdraw cash, shop online, and make purchases within Egypt. Cardholders can monitor their balance and transactions through a dedicated mobile app. The service aims to promote financial inclusion and reduce reliance on cash.

“This partnership reflects our commitment to adopting advanced technological solutions that align with Islamic principles to empower customers,” said Mohamed Ali, CEO of ADIB-Egypt.

PayMint targets individual customers, including workers, freelancers, and suppliers, to help them receive payments and access card services.

“We are proud of our partnership with ADIB-Egypt. This card complements our services and offers an innovative experience,” said Mohamed Rabie, Managing Director of PayMint.

ADIB-Egypt plans to expand its card portfolio through this collaboration. “The card supports daily transactions and offers comprehensive control through the mobile application,” said Sherif Mounir, Head of Cards at ADIB-Egypt.

PayMint and ADIB-Egypt’s partnership is a milestone in advancing Egypt’s digital financial solutions. This initiative aligns with the government’s vision for a cashless and inclusive society.
