Paratus Group is helping to change education in Africa. The company has reached over 30,000 learners across four African countries.
The pan-African telecom company supports schools and communities with internet, digital tools, and training. Their aim is to close the digital gap.
In Namibia, Paratus has worked with Eduvision for over six years. The project supports schools from Junior Primary to Senior Secondary levels.
Paratus provides satellite equipment and technical support. More than 12,000 learners and 471 teachers have benefitted from this partnership.

The telecom company plans to support more schools in Namibia in 2025. This will help improve digital skills and bridge the digital divide.

Supporting Schools and Cybersecurity Across Africa
In Angola, Paratus backs the Golf Solidario tournament. The 2024 event raised over 25 million Kwanzas for schools in Cabinda region.
The money helped Complexo Escolar and Instituto Politécnico de Chiazi. Around 2,000 students will now access digital classrooms and better learning.
Earlier events have improved learning for over 10,000 students by building digital infrastructure in schools across Angola.
In Uíge Province, Paratus opened two computer labs in November 2024. Over 1,500 students from grades 10 to 13 will benefit.
The project was funded by the 10th Solidarity Golf Tournament. It cost over 30 million Kwanzas and supports Angola’s national education goals.
In Zambia, Paratus sponsors the Capture the Flag cybersecurity competition. University students test their skills in real-world cybersecurity challenges.
Top teams win prizes, including ISACA student memberships. This year, the best student also received a paid internship at Paratus Zambia.
Paratus will also support the ABSA Cyberthon from November 4–22, 2025. They are providing secure wireless internet for the event.
Three more paid internships will be offered to top performers. The total internship budget is K22,500 over three months.

In Mozambique, Paratus connected the entire Santa Maria community with Starlink internet. The area now has high-speed internet at the local post.
The internet supports 1,466 students and 30 teachers at the local school. Businesses and health services also benefit from the connection.
This project helps 3,500 residents access the digital world. Paratus worked closely with local leaders to make this possible.
