OMEA and Microsoft Partner to Empower SMEs with Digital Transformation in Africa and the Middle East

Orange Middle East & Africa (OMEA) and Microsoft have partnered to help small and medium-sized businesses (SMEs) in Africa and the Middle East.

Their aim is to improve how these businesses use technology. They will offer Microsoft tools like Microsoft 365, Copilot, Azure, and Dynamics 365 to SMEs in 17 countries.

This will help SMEs change digitally and become part of the digital economy. The partnership shows that both companies are committed to including everyone in the digital world and making the economy grow in the region.

The collaboration will focus on three key areas;

Unlocking Digital Potential for SMEs

This partnership seeks to help small and medium-sized businesses (SMEs) by giving them access to important technology solutions.

They will use Orange’s big network and Microsoft’s new technologies to train, market, and support SMEs.

This will help SMEs use digital tools better and become more competitive and efficient in their work.

Driving Economic Growth and Innovation

Jérôme Hénique, CEO of OMEA, said combining Orange’s network with Microsoft’s solutions can change African businesses a lot.

“This collaboration with Microsoft is a significant step in our commitment to support the digital transformation of African businesses.

“By combining our network and Microsoft’s solutions, we can provide SMEs with the tools and guidance they need to thrive in the digital economy,” Jérôme said

Lillian Barnard, the President of Microsoft Africa also agreed. She said SMEs are important for economic growth.

“SMEs are the engine of economic growth in Africa. By collaborating with Orange, we can help them adopt digital technologies and unleash their full potential to create jobs.

“Moreover, we will also help stimulate innovation, and contribute to the economic development of the continent,” she added.

Additionally, digital tools can help create new ideas and jobs. The partnership wants to help 15,000 businesses by 2024 in Africa and the Middle East.

OMEA and Microsoft Establishing a Framework for Sustainable Development

The partnership between OMEA and Microsoft wants to help 1 million SMEs, which includes small businesses and schools.

They have a plan to make sure this happens. A group of people will watch over the plan to make sure it works well.

They also want to make sure everyone can use digital tools in the future, making the economy better for everyone.

The partnership between OMEA and Microsoft is a big step in changing how small businesses in Africa and the Middle East use technology.

They believe that by using new technology and giving support, they can help businesses find new chances to grow.

This will help them come up with new ideas, do their work better, and make the economy stronger.
