NILESAT and RASCOM have signed an MoU to boost satellite technology, research, and capacity building across Africa and the Middle East.
The two organizations announced the agreement on April 28, 2025. They also signed a Marketing Service Contract to strengthen their partnership.
The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) focuses on satellite capacity sales, research, innovation, and training. It aims to improve knowledge sharing across the region.
Both NILESAT and RASCOM have agreed to share platforms, applications, and satellite infrastructure to support the growth of space technology.
Mr. Hesham Sallam, Chief Commercial Officer, signed the MoU on behalf of NILESAT. Mr. Timothy Ashong, Director General, represented RASCOM.
