Microsoft and Founderz Launch AI Skills 4 Women to Close the Gender Gap in Tech

Microsoft and Founderz have launched “AI Skills 4 Women,” a free training program to bridge the AI gender gap. The initiative targets women across EMEA, including Ukraine, regardless of their technical background. It aims to empower women with AI skills and promote diversity in the tech industry.

The program addresses a crucial issue: Women represent only 22% of AI professionals, 12% of AI researchers, and 16% of AI faculty. AI Skills 4 Women offers expert-led courses featuring industry leaders and 150 scholarships for top performers to deepen their AI knowledge.

“At Microsoft, we believe AI should be developed by diverse teams to better serve society as a whole. Through AI Skills 4 Women, we aim to provide thousands of women in Ukraine with the skills they need to take part in the AI revolution and drive innovation in the field,” said Leonid Polupan, Microsoft Country Manager for the Baltics and Ukraine.
