Invest Africa and British International Investment (BII) will host a forum focused on promoting inclusive development in South Africa. The event, titled “Impactful Investing for Inclusive Growth,” will be held on October 23, 2024, in Johannesburg.
Key leaders, including Andile Ngcaba, Founder and Chairman of Convergence Partners, Hardy Pemhiwa, CEO of Cassava Technologies, and Carel Kleynhans, CEO of Divercity Urban Property Group, will speak at the event. They will discuss how strategic investments can unlock economic potential in South Africa.
The forum aims to tackle critical challenges, such as digital, financial, and spatial inclusion. BII, a pioneer in impact investing, has supported South Africa since 1995. They remain committed to sustainable development through inclusive investment.

Sessions on Digital, Financial, and Spatial Inclusion
The forum will feature two key sessions. The first session will focus on digital and financial inclusion, highlighting how development finance can expand Africa’s digital infrastructure. It will also explore innovative ways to enhance financial inclusion for underserved communities.
The second session will cover spatial inclusion. It will focus on investment in affordable housing and township retail, addressing a significant need in the country.
