ICP HUB Kenya and Turkey Partner to Boost Web3 Development with New Bootcamp

In a major step to advance Web3 and blockchain education, ICP HUB Kenya and ICP HUB Turkey have announced a new partnership.

Together, they aim to empower developers, entrepreneurs, and tech enthusiasts in both regions. This collaboration will focus on exploring the potential of decentralized technologies through the Internet Computer Protocol (ICP).

Both hubs, part of the Internet Computer ecosystem, share a common mission: making ICP accessible and fostering innovation.

Through this cross-border initiative, they seek to connect Kenya and Turkey, enabling developers from both regions to learn, collaborate, and contribute to the rapidly growing ICP community.

Yvonne Kagondu, Co-Founder of ICP HUB Kenya, said, “At ICP HUB Kenya, we are deeply committed to creating opportunities for developers across East Africa, and this partnership allows us to extend that commitment even further.”

ICP HUB Educate Series Bootcamp

A core part of this partnership is the launch of the “ICP Educate Series Bootcamp.” This immersive program is designed to advance Web3 education and development in Kenya and Turkey.

The bootcamp will help developers gain essential skills, offering tools, knowledge, and hands-on experience for success in the evolving decentralized space.

“By partnering with ICP HUB Turkey, we aim to provide a transformative experience for participants, which will offer developers the needed hands-on learning, mentorship, and the opportunity to build real-world projects on the Internet Computer,” said Kagondu.

Scheduled for October 24 from 7-10 PM EAT, the bootcamp will include a range of activities. Participants will attend workshops, hackathons, and mentorship sessions.

The bootcamp focuses on intensive learning, practical experience, collaboration, and ongoing support for developers.

The program is open to aspiring and experienced developers alike. Its goal is to deepen participants’ understanding of Web3 technologies, particularly those built on the Internet Computer platform.

“We believe that empowering developers with these skills is crucial to shaping the future of decentralized technologies,” said an ICP HUB spokesperson. “This collaboration will ensure that the benefits of Web3 technology and the Internet Computer reach more people and regions.”

The ICP Educate Series Bootcamp is part of a larger initiative to promote decentralized technology. The program promises to bring valuable insights and connections, further strengthening Kenya and Turkey’s ties within the ICP community.
