Saudi Arabia’s Industrial Sector Thrives
The Kingdom’s industrial sector is witnessing rapid growth, with petrochemicals playing a key role. Saudi Arabia currently produces 67 percent of the total petrochemical output in the GCC region. This sector grew by 12 percent annually between 2018 and 2022. As a result, it reached 90 million tons last year.
In addition to petrochemicals, the country’s packaging and printing industries are growing at the same rate, capturing 70 percent of the GCC market share.
Saudi Arabia remains the largest economy in the Gulf and the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region. Foreign investors are particularly attracted to its booming industrial sector.
The government aims to increase the industry’s contribution to the country’s gross domestic product (GDP) to 21 percent by 2030.
The Gulf 4P event will provide an essential platform for fostering global partnerships, encouraging foreign investments, and expanding the industrial sector.
The event promises more than 1,000 B2B meetings and 20 conferences, further cementing Saudi Arabia’s leadership in the region.
