e& International Partners with Tech Giants to Enhance Mobile Networks Using AI

e& International has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Huawei, Ericsson, Nokia, and Intel. This agreement aims to transform its mobile networks through artificial intelligence (AI).

The collaboration focuses on creating an “autonomous network” strategy. This strategy aligns with e&’s digital transformation objectives.

The partnership is backed by TM Forum, an alliance of over 800 global companies. Together, they aim to help e& achieve Level 4 autonomy in its mobile networks by 2030.

This goal marks a significant step in e&’s digital transformation journey. The company seeks to become a tech-driven organization.

A New Era for Telecommunications

This collaboration is a game-changer for e& International. It represents a bold move into a new era for the industry. The new networks will be capable of thinking, adapting, and evolving in real-time. e&’s goal is not just to remain competitive.

It aims to leverage AI’s power to deliver intuitive customer experiences. This effort will set new industry standards for connectivity.

Sabri Yehya, Chief Technology Officer at e& International, stated, “This is not just a technological milestone; it represents a fundamental shift towards AI-first operations.”

He added, “e&’s bold vision for achieving AN Level 4 by 2030 with Huawei, Ericsson, Nokia, and Intel is a perfect example of what can be achieved through industry collaboration.”

An autonomous network uses AI and advanced technologies. These networks manage, optimize, and repair themselves with minimal human intervention.

They can automatically adjust settings for optimal performance. They also detect and fix issues, adapt to new devices, and predict maintenance needs.

Achieving Level 4 autonomy means that e&’s networks will largely run themselves. They will handle most operational tasks automatically.

Human oversight will be necessary only for complex or strategic situations. This level of autonomy will allow e& to provide efficient and reliable services.

e& International and its partners will set standards for achieving this autonomy. They will evaluate current capabilities and identify challenges.

They will also plan the necessary steps to enhance network autonomy. Additionally, all partners will test real-world AI use cases. These use cases aim to improve customer experiences, boost efficiency, and support sustainability.

The telecom partners will create a detailed white paper. This document will outline e&’s current network capabilities and future plans.

It will include leveraging AI to accelerate 5G rollout and exploring AI-driven solutions. These solutions will aim to reduce carbon emissions, supporting e&’s sustainability goals.
