Britam’s innovation hub, BetaLab, has announced six fintech startups selected for its 12-week pre-incubation program.
These startups were chosen for their ability to address key market needs in finance and insurance sectors, particularly in InsurTech and FinTech.
The pre-incubation program will provide them with tools and support to help scale their businesses. Evah Kimani, Director of Partnerships & Digital at Britam, expressed excitement about working with these entrepreneurs. She believes their innovative solutions can transform financial services and improve the lives of Kenyans.

Performers to Gain More Opportunities from the Britam Program
The program accelerates the growth and development of the selected startups over 12 weeks. After the program, the top three will qualify for incubation within BetaLab.
Senior Talent supports the initiative by connecting experienced business executives with startup founders.
This partnership aims to help these startups overcome challenges and drive economic growth. Nduati Maina, CEO of Senior Talent, emphasized the importance of resilience and innovation in entrepreneurship. He believes BetaLab will empower these startups to create impactful solutions.
The startups selected include Zereba, a super app for deposit-free rental marketplaces, and Amsha, which creates savings solutions for young adults.
Other innovators are Adapo, a platform for equity crowdfunding, and Chamazetu, a digital platform for managing informal savings groups.
Pesaflex offers secure bank-to-bank transactions for MSMEs, while Medicod AI uses advanced AI to optimize medical coding and billing.
This pre-incubation program is a stepping stone for these startups, providing them with the necessary resources to succeed.
