Africa Tech Summit London, a tech conference series based in Nairobi, has announced 12 tech ventures that will showcase their investments at the London Stock Exchange on June 23.

Those selected from Nigeria include Astravest- an investment platform that provides people with information about investments in commodities, fixed income and real estate.

Famasi Africa also from Nigeria is a health platform that gives people access to medical services and doorstep delivery of medications.

On the other hand, Creditcheck, helps creditors verify information about lenders.

Furthermore, Africa Tech Summit London selected Quantum Analytics from Nigeria. It helps Africans and people of colour up-skill and transition into tech careers.

What to expect at Africa Tech Summit London

In a statement, ATS Managing Director Andrew Fassnidge noted that the exhibition will offer an opportunity for the ventures to secure funding.

“Tech funding has slowed dramatically this year across the African tech ecosystem.

We are delighted to connect and showcase these leading ventures to international investors through this year’s investment showcase at London Stock Exchange,” he stated.

Moreover, the 12 companies will connect with potential investors and corporate industry experts at the London Stock Exchange.

The ventures, according to ATS, are seeking to raise between $ 1 million to $15 million in funding from interested investors.

Additionally, multinationals, banks, international investors, entrepreneurs and governments will attend the conference.

“We look forward to welcoming 300 delegates, to drive business and investment forward between Africa and Europe,” Fassnidge said.
