MTN Rwanda and UNICEF Rwanda have partnered to promote children’s rights, bridge the digital divide, and enhance nutrition efforts across Rwanda. This collaboration aims to advance child welfare and sustainable development in underserved communities.
Free Access to E-Learning Platforms
MTN Rwanda will provide zero-rated access to Rwanda Education Board (REB) e-learning platforms and UNICEF’s Itetero and Ingazi platforms. This will allow over 1.5 million users, especially in rural areas, to access education resources at no cost. The initiative seeks to improve education outcomes and digital literacy.
MTN Rwanda will also invest 34,625,000 Rwandan Francs to research children’s online experiences. This study will address online risks and safe digital habits. The findings will guide policies to enhance the safety of 1.5 million children online.

Fighting Malnutrition with the One Egg per Child Campaign
MTN Rwanda is supporting UNICEF’s One Egg per Child Campaign. This program provides one egg daily to improve children’s health and school attendance. MTN will boost its impact through financial and advocacy support.
MTN Rwanda will also promote UNICEF’s initiatives using its marketing channels. Campaigns will use social media, events, and customer platforms to raise awareness about children’s rights and nutrition programs.
