This session offers founders the chance to receive valuable feedback and gain exposure to potential investors.
Supporting Female Entrepreneurs in a Tough Landscape
The summit comes at a critical time for tech founders in Africa. After a tough year for the tech ecosystem, many founders are facing a new set of challenges.
Access to capital remains limited, and investors are urging entrepreneurs to achieve profitability faster. Female founders, in particular, must navigate these pressures while striving to lead and innovate.
Omobola Johnson, Senior Partner at TLcom Capital, highlighted the need for this summit in today’s environment. “Founders now face a completely new landscape with scarce capital and increased demands from investors,” Johnson said. “But amidst these challenges, the crucial question remains – what does it take to succeed, especially as a woman?”
Johnson emphasized the importance of high-performance qualities and resilience for female founders. The summit will provide insights into these traits, helping women rise to the forefront as industry leaders.
By fostering a community of like-minded entrepreneurs, the summit will promote transformative leadership in the tech sector.
The Africa Tech Female Founder Summit has grown to become a key event for women in tech across Africa. It provides a unique space for founders to share their stories, learn from each other, and build lasting networks.
